 Jake's Farm, a certified organic farm was established in 1998; is located in Candler, NC on Beaverdam Creek in sight of Pisgah Mountain less than fifteen minutes from downtown Asheville in a lush green valley. Jake's Farm practices a system of growing without animal manures. All our fields are drip irrigated. In 2011 Jake's Farm will plant approximately 20 acres and grow over two hundred varieties of heirloom and specialty vegetables for the discriminating chef and for families . During the summer our delicious produce can be found at the Black Mountain Tailgate Market or the new Asheville City Market on Saturday mornings. Our product is available year round from Carolina Organic Growers at the WNC Farmer's Market and most recently a  selection can be had at the Farmer's Fresh Market website for delivery in the Charlotte area.
